Ryan Capes is to long distance motorcycle jumping what Michael Jordan is to NBA championships. To be viewed in that kind of light, of course, you have to pay your dues. Mr. Capes has done just that: As a distance jumper for over seven years, Capes has prepared his entire life for his latest stunt and he insists this new distance (390′ 4″) is just the beginning. After realizing that he had a passion and talent for long-distance jumping, Capes decided to dedicate his life to breaking distance records and leading the charge as the self-proclaimed “new-school pioneer” of distance jumping. Go deep!

As you may know, BMX legend Mat Hoffman isn’t riding Big Air this year. Wha wha? Yes, it’s true. Mat was in a serious car accident several months back in which he sustained a major shoulder injury. The Condor was T-boned at a stop sign in his home town of Oklahoma City, and he has yet to regain full sensation in his arm. We obviously wish him a fast and full recovery.
